CHECKMAGIC for Quicken Ver. 5.1
Will allow printing of checks from Intuit's Quicken only. It is required if you are using the new Quicken 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 or 2008, since previous versions of CHECKMAGIC will NOT print Quicken 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 or 2008 checks. CHECKMAGIC Ver. 3.1 will not install on some Windows XP and 2000 computers if that is your situation, you will also need the upgrade.
CHECKMAGIC Professional Ver. 5.5 for Windows XP, 2000 & NT
Will correctly and faithfully print the check and voucher information on Payroll and Accounts Payable checks, including all dates and data for QuickBooks Ver. 2000 through Ver 2008 including Enterprise 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 & 8. It will also allow users to print out a list of all of your accounts by name and three digit code. CHECKMAGIC Ver. 3.1 will not install on some Windows XP and 2000 computers if that is your situation, you will also need the upgrade.
During April of 2005 Intuit applied an update to QB2005 (R4) that caused a problem with the voucher print out with CHECKMAGIC Ver. 5.2. This new version 5.5 fixes that problem and the vouchers will print correctly after installing Ver. 5.5.
CHECKMAGIC Professional Ver. 4.1
Is the choice if you have NOT upgraded to Windows XP, 2000 or NT. This upgrade is required if you print Payroll Checks, since Intuit has changed the file format for payroll. Ver. 4.1 will not print payroll checks from QB version 2004 or Enterprise 4.
